Grammy-winning singers Toni Braxton and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds have released a new video to their latest single “Hurt You.” The song is the first track from their new duets album entitled Love, Marriage and Divorce which debuts next month.
The sleek cinematic music video shows Braxton and Edmonds literally breaking down walls of pain and fear from their past relationship. Check out some of the lyrics below:
Here we go/Damn, here we go again/Loving you has caused me so much pain/But you don’t see it, you never see it/So why apologize?/I was just doing what I had to do baby/An eye for an eye/God knows I never meant to hurt you/I never meant to break your heart, your heart babe/
The video was directed by Norwegian-born photographer Ray Kay, whose client list include some of the biggest names in the music industry—Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, Cher, Diddy, Gloria Estefan, Adam Lambert and Britney Spears.
“Hurt You” is Braxton and Edmonds’ first duet since their 1992 classic hit record, “Give You My Heart,” which was featured on the Boomerang soundtrack.
