Instant Mom actress Sheryl Lee Ralph is gearing up to present her annual HIV-AIDS fundraiser, “DIVAS Simply Singing!” The benefit will take place this Saturday, October 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Club Nokia Live in Los Angeles, CA.
This year’s stellar list of performers include a who’s who of musical talent that includes R&B Divas Faith Evans, Kelly Price, gospel sirens Karen Clark-Sheard and Kierra Sheard, former GLEE star Amber Riley, “Superwoman” Karyn White and comedic actress and singer Jenifer Lewis. There will also be special tributes from male vocalists VaShawn Mitchell, Luke James and B. Slade formerly known as the gospel artist, Tonex.
“DIVAS Simply Singing” is produced in conjunction with Ralph’s DIVA Foundation and is the longest consecutive running musical AIDS benefit concert in the country. The annual show helps raise money and awareness about HIV/AIDS while assisting AIDS organizations in Los Angeles and around the world. Past performers have included Rupaul, Ledisi, Lalah Hathaway and Oleta Adams.
