Boy meets Girl. Boy sexes Girl. Girl falls in love with Boy. Boy, do we have a problem!
This is the basic premise of the 80’s classic romantic comedy, About Last Night. The movie, which was originally based on the 1974 David Mamet play Sexual Perversity in Chicago, starred a very young Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, James Belushi and Elizabeth Perkins. Now it’s being told from an African-American point-of-view and features Kevin Hart, Regina Hall, Michael Ealy and Joy Bryant in the iconic lead roles.
As previously reported, Danny (Ealy) and Bernie (Hart) are two single men living their lives on the wild side. But when Danny meets Debbie (Bryant) at a bar and the two start a relationship with a one night stand, Danny’s life takes a different turn. How does this passionate night become a full affair and what effect will this relationship have on both people and their friendship with their best mates?”
About Last Night also stars Paula Patton and Adam Rodriguez and being produced by Will Packer.
