Oprah Winfrey loves BIG hair!

No seriously, the Butler  actress and media maven is sporting her biggest hairdo ever for the September issue of her O Magazine. The custom made 3.5 pound wig dominates the cover along with her hot orange V-neck dress and famous, mega-watt smile.

According to Winfrey, this is her favorite cover to date and shared it on Monday via Facebook: “Just revealed this new cover of O, The Oprah Magazine — one of my faves ever,” she wrote. “Let’s talk about HAIR! Love this cover so much, I’m making it my new profile pic!”

Reportedly the wig was created by Kim Kimble, weave guru and reality star of L.A. Hair.  The hair was also transported in bubble wrap and a custom-made, bright pink travel box with a built-in stand to keep it upright and is affectionately known as  ‘wild thang.’

A consumate wig-wearer, Winfrey went on to say this about the ginormous afro, “I wish I could say it was all mine. In fact it’s borrowed. And it feels like carrying around an extra head.”
