Yep, that’s pretty much the gist of what’s going on between YMCMB artists Nicki Minaj and DJ Khaled. Just days after the DJ professed his love to Minaj with a 10-karate diamond ring on MTV, the former Idol judge responded not with a resounding “yes” or a hard “no.” Instead, she responded with a restraining order.
According to Rolling Out, Minaj didn’t find Khaled’s marriage proposal video amusing and has filed a restraining order against him in her home state of New York. Apparently, this is not her first time dealing with Khaled’s over-the-top advances. The DJ has reportedly sent her flowers and various packages before and has even shown up unexpectedly at her concerts and shows around the country. Yikes! This may have been a tongue in cheek move from Minaj, but in reality, restraining orders are no joke.
