Emayatzy Corinealdi reminds Nate Parker about the power of prayer in a newly released clip of the PTSD drama, Lu.  In the scene, Corinealdi talks to Parker about giving her war memories of death and destruction over to God and encourages him to do the same. It appears that Corinealdi and Parker are siblings in the film.  Lu  also stars Omari Hardwick as Dr. Harden and Saye Yabandeh as Mila.

As previously reported, Parker stars at the title character Lu in this new story about a former marine who is dealing with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) that sets out to find a woman caught in the crossfire during a firefight in Iraq.  Lu  is based on the real life story of Luigino Lobello.

According to the film’s synopsis, Lu seeks to shed new light on an issue that oftentimes doesn’t get the attention that it deserves.  The indie project is a poignant piece that is sure to resonate with the countless veterans and their families whose lives have been directly impacted by PTSD.

Lu is a production of Blue Angel Entertainment and is directed by Korstiaan Vandiver.
