Ne-Yo said a mouth full recently when he confirmed that he was putting some finishing touches on Beyoncé’s new album.  According to his Billboard interview, the singer-songwriter says that Bey’s new project is coming but fans just have to be patient.

“I’m still putting stuff together for Beyoncé’s album,” said Ne-Yo. “They’re trying to figure out what they want that to be, which I’m not mad at. Beyoncé’s the kind of artist where you’re not gonna see it ’till it’s right. And her fans—they love her so they’ll be patient.”

For months now, we have been trying to figure out what’s been up with the Queen’s long awaited album. In March, the Grammy-winning singer’s alleged tracklist was leaked on the internet and revealed her all-star collaborations with Lady Gaga, Azealia Banks, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and Ne-Yo.

However, not much has been said about the album since then despite the fact that she has released snippets of songs including “Grown Woman” and “Standing on the Sun.” She also released the tracks “Rise Up” for her new animated film, “Epic” and “Bow Down/I Be On” which received negative feedback from fans and other female singers in the industry.  Bey told GQ in February that she recorded over 50 songs for the album and said the album is influenced by R&B, rock and soul and 60’s doo-wop.

Catch Bey at an arena near you as the North American leg of her Mrs. Carter World Tour begins at the end of the month in Las Vegas.
