Jamie Foxx is teaming up with his Django co-star Leonardo DiCaprio again for a new cop drama based on S. Craig Zahler’s new crime novel, Mean Business on North Ganson Street.

According to THR, the two prized actors will play detectives who come together to help stop a series of attacks on a police department in a Missouri town. Reportedly, DiCaprio’s character is a disgraced officer who is sent to the town first and is then joined by Foxx’s character, who is said to have a violent past.  The two decide to dish their own brand of justice on the assailants who are using officers as targets for murder.

Also look for Jamie Foxx on the recent cover of The Hollywood Reporter  along with his White House Down co-star Channing Tatum. The film, which opened nationwide in theaters yesterday, features Tatum as a secret service agent who tries to save the United States President, played by Foxx, when the White House is attacked by a paramilitary group. The film also stars Garcelle Beauvais as the First Lady.

Check out a few photos below from the hilarious photoshoot as well as excerpts from the interview:

Foxx on His Favorite Presidents…

“Of the three president’s Foxx has met (BIll Clinton, George. W. Bush and Barack Obama), he says he likes them all for different reasons. “Obviously, with President Obama, there is a kinship because I am an African-American. Watching how he deals [with everything], he’s like LeBron James. Either he’s at the top of the mountain or they put him at the bottom of the ocean,” Foxx says. “If you look back on this time, you’ll look back on how chaotic it was and say, ‘Here’s a man who is not afraid.’”

Jamie Foxx tells THR he never thought he would be playing the president one day…

“The stuff I am doing now is beyond my wildest dreams — though I have met President Clinton, President Obama and President Bush before,” Foxx says. “They’re regular guys. George Bush loves his family, Christian man; President Obama loves his family, another Christian man; Bill Clinton, another Christian man. These guys are all human. Behind closed doors, they’re human guys. They are not mechanical machines even if their ratings are down.”
