Congratulations to rising Atlanta-based hip-hop star Trinidad James on his smash hit record, “All Gold Everything” going CERTIFIED gold.
The rapper received his plaque from Def Jam Sr. VP of Marketing, Chris Atlas, during a private reception and dinner held last night at the Tree Sound Studios in Norcross (Atlanta), GA. Tree Sound Studios is one of the most sought after recording facilities in the world and boasts a unique client roster that includes Beyoncé, Usher, Ciara, Drake, Fergie, Elton John, Justin Bieber, Outkast and the late Whitney Houston.
James, who signed a $2-million joint venture with Def Jam Records last December, appeared to be very humbled by the accomplishment and encouraged the audience to continue to dream big. A gold plaque was also presented to TIG Entertainment CEO, Fly.
The evening, which was sponsored by D’usse Liquour, featured impromptu performances from other TIG Entertainment artists including Rich Homie Quan, who performed his latest single “Differences,” Fortebowie and 19-year-old singer/rapper, Jacques.
