Jay-Z appears on one of seven TIME 100 magazine covers.  The highly anticipated list of the magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world features the hip-hop mogul with words by NYC Mayor Bloomberg.  Jennifer Lawrence, Elon Musk, Rand Paul, and Malala Yousafzai round out the rest of the domestic split covers while Aamir Khan and Li Na grace the international covers.

Jigga is also one of 10 African-Americans who made the list this year including Michelle and Barack Obama, Frank Ocean, Valerie Jarrett, LeBron James, Shonda Rhimes, Miguel, California attorney general Kamala Harris and Beyoncé.

Oprah Winfrey, John Legend, Derek Jeter and Dr. Maya Angelou are among the guests contributors for some of the chosen recipients.
