Jay-Z’s Made in America Festival just got interesting! The two day festival returns to Philadelphia this Labor Day and will be headlined by non-other than, Beyoncé.
The Festival made the announcement on Wednesday via Spotify that King Bey would perform at the event along with the other headliner, Nine Inch Nails. Bey was allegedly supposed to perform during last year’s fest but only made a backstage appearance. This year, she is bringing her “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” to the city of brotherly love along with other scheduled performance by Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Public Enemy, Miguel, Wiz Khalifa, Calvin Harris, 2 Chainz, Emeli Sande and Solange.
Last year’s event was attended by about 40,000 and was held in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Proceeds from last year’s show benefited the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
The Budweiser Made in America Festival takes place on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. Tickets go on sale April 17.
