Indie Wire is reporting that Magic Johnson’s ASPiRE network is gearing up for the launch of a new talk show titled, Exhale.

According to Variety, the project is similar to The View  and features five African-American women in media: journalist Angela Burt-Murray, actress and comedian Erin Jackson, Awkward Black Girl’s  Issa Rae, author and TV anchor Rene Syler and actress Malinda Williams. Exhale will be produced by Lynne Robinson and Black Robin Media and will cover a wide range of topics including family, relationships, career, money and faith.

“We are thrilled to add ‘Exhale’ to our lineup of original programming,” said the ASPiRE GM Paul Butler. “This fresh, hip and candid new series will enlighten audiences with its broad range of topics relevant to the community.”

Production has already started and the network plans to roll out 8-episodes in June.
