Without a doubt, Tia Mowry-Hardict and Tamera Mowry-Housely are two of the most in-demand actresses in Hollywood. However, it’s not all hard work and no play for these twin sisters.
The pair recently came together for Essence’s April “Career Success Guide” issue photo-shoot. The former child stars also dished about the joys of motherhood, balancing their busy careers and starting up their new product line for mothers and babies called Mama Need. They also get ‘real’ about reality TV and why they turned it down.
“We didn’t want to do a reality show if we couldn’t be real—if I couldn’t be myself. There is no ‘evil twin’ syndrome, though we do have evil moments…”
Check out a few other excerpts from their interview as well as photos of them posing with their babies Cree and Aden below:
“I’ve always wanted to be a mother. I’m a nurturer, a girly girl. I know my priorities: God, family and work … When those things are in check, the work will flows,” says Tamera Mowry-Housely.
“I feel sexier now, as a mother, than I ever have in my life. I’m more in tune with my body. I don’t take any crap anymore either,” says Tia Mowry-Hardict.
