Beyoncé’s protégé Luke James is giving us a taste of his musical styling with the release of a free digital EP called “Whispers In the Dark.” The project —produced mostly by Danja—is supposed to hold fans over until the New Orleans bred performer releases his full length CD, “Made to Love” next year.
James, who just received a Grammy nomination for Best R&B performance, has been riding high since the release of his first single, I Want You earlier this year. He’s also been “that dude” on a number of award and music programs including The BET Honors, Black Girls Rock and The Soul Train Awards.
James has also managed to parlay a second career as a model appearing in Bey’s Run The World (Girls) video and Diddy’s new Sean John Collection. Check him out below as he and Omari Hardwick flirt with the camera…
Also check out James’ video for “Make Love To Me.” It pays homage to the late Ernie Barnes’ classic painting The Sugar Shack and features cameos by Kelly Rowland, Omari Hardwick and En Vogue’s Terry Ellis.
