The Bronze Lens Film Festival is currently underway for its third year in Atlanta with a number of workshops and classes for aspiring filmmakers. This year’s invited celebrity panelists include famed casting director and producer Reuben Cannon, Best-selling author turned filmmaker Pearl Cleage and Roger Bobb of BobbCat Films, producer of The Rickey Smiley Show, Meet the Browns and The House of Payne.

However, the highlight of this year’s festival is the much talked about “Women’s Superstars Luncheon.” This year’s honorees include Emmy and Golden Globe winning actress S. Epatha Merkerson, indie film star Emayatzy Corinealdi, Script Consultant of BET’s The Game Kathy Fong Yoneda, producer of Hustle & Flow, Stephanie Allain and first time filmmaker Deborah Riley Draper, whose fashion documentary Versailles 73, won the coveted CNN Outstanding Documentary Award.

“The BronzeLens Women Superstars Luncheon is now nationally recognized as a must attend industry event.  We are proud to have achieved such status in the three years since its inception and we are grateful to our sponsors The Coca-Cola Company and Macy’s for supporting our vision”, said Sheryl Gripper, Founding Executive Director of the BronzeLens Film Festival.

The luncheon takes place today from noon to 2p.m. at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Click here to purchase tickets and get additional BLFF information.
