She ‘motivated’ us last year with her third album, Here I AM.  Now, Kelly Rowland is back with an inspirational message for all the ladies in her fourth LP entitled, Year of the Woman. The former Destiny’s Child star recently revealed the name of the project on her website.

“I’m so excited to reveal the title of my fourth solo studio album. For weeks I have been using the hashtag #YOTW, which stands for my next album, which is titled Year of the Woman. This album is one of my greatest pieces of work and I cannot wait to share it with you guys! xoxo- KR,” she wrote.

The first single from the album, “ICE,” featuring Lil Wayne was released in late summer followed by her second single featuring Ludacris called, “Representin.”

Year of the Woman features a number of collaborations with super producers Sean Garret, Rico Love and T-Minus and is inspired by the musical legacy of Motown.

“What triggered it all was when I was on tour last year with Chris Brown,” she explained. “I stopped by Hitsville U.S.A. [the nickname for Motown’s first headquarters in Detroit], and saw all of this history; it filled my soul up to the point where I wanted to tell my story. To me, it’s really about having something to say, and people love that.”
