IndieWire  is reporting that the long-awaiting NBC Primetime Soap “Deception” will debut on January 7, 2013.

The new drama formerly “Infamous” and “Notorious” will air on Monday nights from 10pm-11pm, following the Biggest Loser  at 9pm, until the return of The Voice.

As previously reported, Deception  stars Meagan Good as Joanna Locasto, a female detective who returns undercover to the wealthy family she grew up in-as the maids- daughter to solve the murder of the notorious heiress who was once her closest friend-celebutante played by Vivian Lawson.

Las Alonzo will play NYPD detective Will Sacovitch, who recruits Good’s character, his former lover, to team up and infiltrate the Lawson home – led by Victor Garber as Robert Lawson and Tate Donovan as his son.
