Super music producer Swizz Beatz can now add Global Ambassador to his many lists of titles.  The Bronx-born “renaissance man” has recently been named the new Global Ambassador for New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation.

According to HipHopDX.com, the Reebox Creative Director will raise global awareness and financial support for the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation and the Fund for HHC and its programming. His role in the HHC will focus primarily on the relationship between the arts and therapeutic healing.

Executive Director for the Fund for HHC Joe Schick says, “[Swizz Beatz] is committed to using his creativity, his innovation, and his international stature to help spread the HHC message on a global scale to promote better health in our city and our world.”

Tonight at 7pm, Beatz will officially take his position as Global Ambassador at a special fundraising event at Harlem Hospital Center. The event will recognize Beatz as well as members of the HHC staff.
