Award winning-songwriter Kandi Burruss celebrated the grand opening of her second clothing store Tags II last Friday.  She and her business partner, Peaches Chin were all smiles as customers and celebrity friends gathered at the Brookwood Plaza location in Buckhead, Atlanta.

Jazze Pha, Toya Carter, Derek J, Cynthia Bailey, former Miss U.S.A Kenya Moore, Ne-Yo’s fiancée Monyetta Shaw and Mama Dee of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta were all there to support the event that was sponsored by Vita Coco, Cami Cakes and Ciroc.

Burruss’ long-time publicist Tresa Sanders, her manager DonJuan and her daughter Riley were also there to take in the festivities that included a live DJ and fashion show.

RC had a chance to chat briefly with Burruss, who says that Tags II is for the female consumer who wants to look good but not break her budget trying to do so.

“Peaches and I decided to make ‘affordable luxury.’  That’s what we like to call it, affordable luxury.  As women, we like to be pampered and we like to look good.  We like to step out and feel good.  And that’s what Tags II is all about.”
