Jay-Z and Beyoncé aren’t the only music stars raising dollars for the Obama Campaign!
Hip hop mogul Russell Simmons and The Roots’ Questlove are in a friendly battle to see who can raise the most money for the president’s re-election campaign.
According to TheGrio, the two have been going head to head in this election season. However, Simmons is falling short having only raised 26% of his goal while QuestLove has already raised about 73% of his goal.
Simmons even tweeted for help a few days ago, asking his followers for assistance.
“questlove is bustin’ my a** in this fundraising competition for @BarackObama. I need people to join my team! HELP”
