The Fox Network has unveiled the first official photo of new American Idol judges: Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj.
According to THR, the photo was taken on the first day of auditions for season 12 and was released just hours after the network confirmed that Minaj and Urban would join the show.
Last week, RC reported that Minaj and Urban were in contract negotiations with the show. However, this photo seals the deal. Also pictured is Mariah Carey, original Idol judge Randy Jackson and of course Ryan Seacrest as the show’s host.
Auditions were held Sunday in NYC, with plans to also visit LA, Chicago, Charlotte, San Antonio, Baton Rouge and Oklahoma City. American Idol will return to Fox in January 2013.
