Former CNN anchor and correspondent TJ Holmes is eager to get started with his new gig on BET. Holmes will host a new late night show called Don’t Sleep. This show is part of a multi-platform talent deal he signed with the network back in 2011.
According to Ebony, the 35 year-old from Arkansas recently spoke at a TCA press tour about the show and says that the biggest adjustment with the new job is the new time.
‘We are going to be airing every night at 11 p.m. It’s kind of odd. I go from doing early mornings to late nights,” said Holmes. “That’s going to be a bit of an adjustment, but it’s going to be a variety of folks. We have a list we’re kind of working for that first week, and we’ll be talking more about that as we get closer.”
Holmes will be competing for viewers come this fall along with former late night talk show king Arsenio Hall and reality show starlet Tiny, who is hosting her very own late night program, Tiny Tonight on VH1.
