Andre 3000 to direct music video for Rick Ross’ “Sixteen”

Andre 3000 can now add director to his list of many accolades.

The überly talented rapper, actor, and fashion icon is getting behind the camera to direct a music video for Rick Ross’ “Sixteen.”  Andre is featured on the hot single which appears on Ross’ new album, God Forgives, I Don’t.  Ross told MTV recently that he was anticipating the OutKast energy that Andre would bring to the track.

“A lot of times artists be fans of other artists and when they collaborate with ’em, they forget why they were fans, meaning that when I collaborated with him, I wanted to give him the production that I felt could bring out some of that OutKast energy, and what it actually resulted to was a record that he titled ‘Sixteen,’” said the rapper.

“Sixteen refers to the common number of bars in most rap verses.  However, for this collaboration Andre and Ross recorded a verse with 48 bars. Ross is looking to release the song and video in the near future.
