Keke Palmer is gearing up to star in a new LifeTime movie called Abducted: The Carlina White Story.  The movie is based on the real life story of a young woman who was abducted from a Harlem Hospital in 1987 by Ann Pettway, who was posing as a nurse.

Pettway, played by Aunjanue Ellis, raises White under an alias name less than 50 miles from Manhattan in Bridgeport, CT. When White suspects that Pettway may not be her real mother, she contacts the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

White’s story made national news last year when she was reunited with her biological mother Joy White, who will be played by Sherri Shepherd of The View.

Film production is scheduled to begin soon in Vancouver and the film will be released later on this year.
