Usher’s ‘Confessions’ album has sold more than 10 million in U.S. sales.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, this achievement is noteworthy since his 2004 album is the 19th album to sell more than 10 million since SoundScan began tracking data in 1991.
Other albums to sell over 10 million include Eminem’s The Eminem Show, Alanis Morrisette’s Jagged Little Pill, Shania Twain’s Come On Over and Metallica’s Metallica, which has sold 15.8 million.
‘Confessions’ debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts when it was released in 2004 and sold over 1.1 million in its first week. The album spent nine weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and features such hit singles as “Yeah!,” “Burn” and “Confessions Part II.”
Congratulations Usher!
