Russell Simmons refuses to take no for an answer!  The Hip Hop mogul is teaming up with menswear designer Joseph Abboud to relaunch his Argyleculture clothing line this fall.

According to Huffingtonpost.com, Simmons has been down this road before with the sportswear collection.  He has also launched two other clothing lines, Phat Farm and American Classics.  However, Simmons is optimistic that the new partnership will work and says, “Finding the right match is tough.  Sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn’t.  But this is Joseph Abboud.”

The revamped collection is said to appeal to the “urban graduate” who is looking to transition into an “urban sophisticate.”  The line of course will feature the signature argyle look infused with pops of color and classic looks like pixelated plaids.  Abboud says, “Traditional preppy has rigid boundaries and this pushes the envelope.”
