In a candid face-to-face interview, 82-year-‘young’ matriarch, Katherine Jackson sat down with CNN‘s Piers Morgan and opened up about her son Michael Jackson.
It’s been nearly three years since Michael’s passing and Mrs. Jackson misses him dearly and thinks of him daily…“I just miss him, but being a Christian and believing in the resurrection, I feel that I’ll see him again. Every morning, all through the day, I think about Michael. If I wake up through the night, my mind is there,” she said.
In the hour-long interview, Michael’s art was put on display and Mrs. Jackson shared his live for drawing, painting, water-colors and even crayons. Later, Morgan segued into Michael’s troubled childhood, his abuse of drugs and the role it played in his 2009 death.
Then the talk-show host asked Mrs. Jackson how she felt about Conrad Murray, her response was:
“You know what; I can’t even describe the way I feel about him. He did a terrible thing,” she says of Michael’s former personal doctor. “For a person’s life, four years in jail is not enough. I’ll never see my son again. But he can get out and he’ll enjoy his children.”
