Let’s travel back to the 80’s, when music was good.  Particularly 1985!  Now answer this question, when you think of The Force M.D.’s (short for Musical Diversity) what song comes to your mind?  Ahhhh yeah,…Tender Love!

Well, S&A reports the ABFF (American Black Film Festival) has a documentary in its line-up entitled The Force MD’s Relived!  The documentary is about the R&B vocal group, formed in 1981 in Staten Island, NY…The Force M.D.’s

Check out the documentary description:

… an entertaining and illuminating film, that presents an enlightening account of the early years of rap music and tells how a young MC crew from Staten Island, NY became the innovators of Hip-Hop, Doo Wop Soul.

The 2012 ABFF runs from June 20 – 23 in Miami (South Beach), FL; if you are attending the festival be sure and check out this biopic-documentary.
