Boris Frederic Cecil Tay-Natey Ofuatey-Kodjoe (better known as Boris Kodjoe) was born on March 8, 1973 and is an Austrian-born German actor and former fashion model who works primarily in the United States.
Kodjoe is perhaps best known as one of the regulars from the Showtime drama Soul Food, a show that introduced him to co-star and future wife Nicole Ari Parker. His film/television credits include: Brown Sugar, Second Time Around, The Gospel, Madea’s Family Reunion and Undercovers; just to name a few. In 2002, Kodjoe was named on of the “50 Most Beautiful People in the World” by People magazine.
Kodjoe and his wife are the proud parents of a girl, Sophi Tei-Naaki Lee Kodjoe and a boy, Nicolas Neruda Kodjoe.
