Jay-Z and Kanye West fans will get an opportunity to see behind-the-scenes footage of their platinum-selling album “Watch the Throne” thanks to the help of Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
According to Blackvoices.com, the Smith’s production company Overbrook Entertainment will produce a film that documents the recording process of the album. The film is being directed by Robert Lopuski.
Sources are also saying the Hollywood power couple are schedule to attend the documentary’s premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on September 9. However, it has not been confirmed whether Jay-Z or Kanye West will be in attendance.
This isn’t the first time the Smiths have collaborated with Jay-Z. They were both producers of the award-winning Broadway musical, FELA! The two are also working together on a remake of Annie starring Will and Jada’s daughter Willow, who is also signed to Jay-Z’s label Roc Nation.
