The Queen of Empire, Taraji P. Henson covers the November issue of ESSENCE magazine. The actress posted the flawless image on her social media page this week with the caption:

Inside, Henson dishes about the importance of studying your craft. The Oscar nominated-actress is currently preparing to play the mother of Richard Pryor in the upcoming Lee Daniels’ biopic about the embattled star that features Mike Epps. She is also starring as Civil Rights activist, Ann Atwater, in a new film titled, The Best of Enemies. Atwater faced faced off against the Ku Klux Klan during the 1960s in order to desegregate schools in Durham, North Carolina. ESSENCE hits newsstands this Friday, October 16!
Also gracing a cover is the award winning-director, Ava DuVernay. She appears on the November issue of ELLE along with Oscar winning-actress Kate Winslet and others. DuVernay posted the above inside photo along with the caption:
