TMZ is reporting that rapper Kanye West will not be prosecuted for the attack on the paparazzi last Friday while leaving LAX. According to the website’s sources, LAPD robbery detectives are currently investigating the photographer’s allegations that West tried to steal his camera.
Remember, the shady cameraman aka Dano is claiming that West tried to steal his expensive equipment during their scuffle at LAX. The incident occurred less than a week after West forbid paparazzi from talking to him or anyone related to him. In addition, the D.A. will most likely not charge West with felony attempted robbery because of zero evidence and the file will probably get rejected.
Sources are also saying that if the file goes to the L.A. City attorney for a misdemeanor criminal battery prosecution, if will probably fail there too because West is willing to make a civil compromise. No word yet on how much that settlement might cost West.
