Justin Timberlake’s new song, “Suit & Tie”, was released on January 14th but it has already made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100!
Suit & Tie entered the Hot 100 this week at #84 based on 48 hours of radio airplay alone. In case you didn’t know, the Hot 100 is based on a point system that incorporates radio airplay, digital downloads and online streaming figures.
The song, currently available solely as an iTunes exclusive, previews Timberlake’s forthcoming third solo album, The 20/20 Experience. It’s Timberlake’s first new music since 2006’s chart topper FutureSex/LoveSounds.
Suit & Tie is expected to sell 300K-350K copies by the end of this week and vault into the top 10 of the Hot 100 on the subsequent Hot 100 listing.
