Pop singer Rihanna has broken another Billboard record.  According to BET, she is the first artist in its 20-year history to earn 10 No. 1 titles in pop songs radio airplay chart. Her current single, “Stay featuring Mikky Ekko” edged out ex-BFF Katy Perry, with whom she was tied for nine No. 1’s.

Rihanna first entered the Billboard charts back in 2006 with her single “SOS”. Since then she has dominated pop music with such hits as “Disturbia,” “Rude Boy,” “Only Girl (In the World)” and the 2011 club banger “We Found Love .” The single, which featured Calvin Harris, stayed No. 1 for eight weeks and was the longest visit for her on the pop charts.

Rihanna’s other Billboard achievements includes having 35 entries on the Pop Songs chart – The most of any artist. Her current single, Stay, has also moved up to No. 7 on the Adult Pop Songs chart, becoming her third single to do so and reached No. 3 on the Hot 100.
