Congratulations to rising fashion designer Dom Streater. The 24-year-old sashayed away with a $500,000 prize package on Thursday night as the winner of Project Runway’s  season 12.

The native  Philadelphian, who is best known for creating edgy prints, beat out finalists Alexandria von Bromssen, Brandon McDonald, and Justin LeBlanc. She also got a chance to show off her “Retro Redux” collection to PEOPLE’S Best Dressed and guest judge, Kerry Washington. According to Streater, Washington was a sheer pleasure on the show.

“She was so beautiful and stunning. I was so star struck: ‘I can’t believe she’s talking to me and looking at my work.’ It was insane, and it was great to be able to speak with her and hear her point of view.”

She also told The Hollywood Reporter, that she is currently working on her next collection and plans to stay in Philly. Click here to read the rest.
