Congratulations to Gospel music greats Donnie McClurkin and Tramaine Hawkins. The two will be honored at this year’s ESSENCE Festival Annual Day of Praise & Inspiration on July 7. The free event will be held at New Orleans’ Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and is hosted by New York 1 News Anchor and author Cheryl Wills.
Scheduled performances include Yolanda Adams, Isaac Carree, Kim Burrell, Kurt Carr, Michelle Williams, Tyronne Foster & The Arc Singers, Bishop Lester Love and Bishop Noel Jones.
